Since blogger.com upgraded their system, they have discarded the support for an existing XMLRPC interface, thus rendering the existing procedure of blogger.com account configuration invalid. Nevertheless, you may still set up Chrysanth WebStory to publish and back up your blog entries against your blogger.com accounts easily.

Just follow the steps outlined below to set up your blogger.com account:

Set up a new account

1. Set up a new account


Select a custom Blog Service Provider

2. Select a custom Blog Service Provider, click at the Custom Provider... button


Enter a name for this custom Blog Service Provider

3. Enter a name for this custom Blog Service Provider


Select Live Journal as the blog engine

4. Select Live Journal as the blog engine


Set up blog host information

5. Set up blog host information:

  • Host Name: www.blogger.com
  • End Point: /api

Custom Blog Service Provider configured successfully

6. Custom Blog Service Provider configured successfully, click at the Close button


Select the newly set up Blog Service Provider

7. Select the newly set up Blog Service Provider


Enter account information

8. Enter account information, and proceed as usual
